Solomon Inniss ~1777-1860 and his ancestors

 

Thanks to the Prettejohn Ancestry tree -home person is a descendant of William Gosling 1849 - and to Mike Barnes Genes Reunited tree - - I can now go back further with the Annis family. This was written 2011- now, 2015, cannot find either of these, but Gill Gosling/Church does have a Genes Reunited tree going back to

Thomas Hannis ~1632, Robert Hannis 1658 Churcham Glocs, Solomon Hannis 1688 Upton St Leonard, then Richard as below [ Doubt if Gill has been through original archives but I have/can not found these baptisms online]

Richard Annis 1717-1787 was the father of James Annis. Richard was b.St Leonards, Upton, Oxon??. He married Sarah Unknown <1745 . Sarah Annis, wife of Richard, was buried 1772 in Naunton- Glocs records Ancestry

James Annis 1752-1817 was the father of Solomon Annis. James was baptised 2/8/1752 Naunton Gloucestershire- FS & Ancestry . He married Ann Harris on 21/8/1775 Burford - not on FS, nor Ancestry

Was one of their children John Hanniss ,60, [ thus born 1776-1780] , not born Glocs., living in Gloucester 1841C?

Solomon Annis,~1777 Burford, [his baptism searched for/found??] son of above James & Ann, married an Ann Long, born~1780, Cheltenham?? on 14/9/1800 in Cheltenham [Mike- m.c. on Ancestry, his name looks like Hanns ] . Solomon was a postillian [from d.c. Post boy on 1845 mc of daughter Elizabeth]. Their children were Ann Annis baptised 10/2/1807 [ seemingly only from Gill] , George Annis baptised 17/10/1810 & Jane Annis baptised 10/2/1813, all 3 in St. Mary de Lode Gloucester -these last 2 on Ancestry &

Elizabeth Annis was baptised St. Nicholas Gloucester 1/2/1815. Brother ??, unlikely, James Annis was presumably born ~1805 & her definite siblings b.1807,1810 & 1813.
